Cleanup Zegerplas in Alphen a/d Rijn, The Netherlands

Ghost Divers are slowly forged for a clear reason: The removal of fishing gear, mainly big fishing nets should not be underestimated. The starting point is to have confidence in a team activity, being a team player and to be able to perform an (often complicated) task underwater as a team. That takes time. This is the reason we do not provide courses. With courses you teach basic skills to individuals who do often not know each other and that usually goes well if everything goes by the book and the (under)water conditions are perfect. All fun and games so far. But the diver's real capacity and training appears when nothing is perfect, the workload hits the ceiling and stress kicks in at the same time. Guess what... that will happen sooner rather than later.

We will make sure that divers have enough confidence in what they are doing, as a team. We start lifting nets when the time is right, no rush.
